S and T Controls Ltd is a family owned firm, first established in 1999 when Director Simon Daniels worked evenings and weekends to get the business started.
Simon has almost 30 years’ experience in the control systems industry having served his apprenticeship in 1994 with the BAA at Gatwick working on ground systems maintenance.
From BAA Simon moved to Postfield Systems specialising in caller management systems, and timetable screens for railways and other uses.
He then moved to Edwards working in the vacuum control systems team and finally Romec as a troubleshooter, maintaining their buildings systems and facilities including the dock levellers, lighting, heating and kitchen equipment.
In 2003, having gained a wealth of experience Simon decided the time was right to launch S and T Controls as a full-time operation.
An Incorporated Engineer (IENG) and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Simon has a team under him with experience in design, electronic assembly, technical installation, machining including CNC processes, technical theatre (sound and light) and logistics and transport.
